Gli Screen Actor Guild Awards sono i premi assegnati dal sindacato statunitense degli attori alle migliori performance recitative dell'anno, sia al cinema che in televisione.
Vincere un Golden Globe e un SAG nello stesso anno rende la consegna dell'Oscar una pura formalità: quindi cari Julianne Moore (Best Actress) e Eddy Redmayne (Best Actor) preparatevi pure l'acceptance speech per il 22 febbraio!
Per il cinema la miglior performance di gruppo va al cast del film Birdman, per la televisione ex-equo tra il drama Downton Abbey e la comedy Orange is the New Black; Kevin Spacey porta ad House of Cards il secondo riconoscimento come miglior attore, mentre a Viola Davis va il premio come miglior attrice per la nuovissima serie How to Get Away with Murder (Le regole del delitto perfetto), ma io aggiungerei anche quello di miglior discorso sul palco!
