Lunedì sera a New York si è tenuto uno degli eventi più importanti nel mondo della moda americano: i CFDA Awards 2014, conosciuti anche come gli Oscar della Moda.
Last night in New York, one of the most important event for the American world of fashion took place: the CFDA Awards 2014, also known as The Oscars of Fashion.

Siete stati a Cannes? Al festival intendo...si, quello con le star del cinema? Con tanti film ? Cannes? La croisette? ...No?!!
Neanche io.

Come ogni anno di Cannes si ricordano più le star che i film stessi: non importa a nessuno se vinci la palma d'oro, basta che non ti metti uno Chanel al rovescio (anche se ultimamente...) o che ti fai truccare dai My Little Pony.

A titolo informativo sappiate che: Grace di Monaco non era in concorso, è stato scelto come film d'apertura del festival ed è riuscito a conquistare abbastanza fischi e pernacchie, da convincere l'intera produzione che forse era meglio rivedere casting e sceneggiatura. La palma d'oro come miglior film è stata assegnata al regista turco Nuri Bilge Ceylan con Winter Slepp, la miglior attrice è Julianne Moore in Maps to the stars, film del regista David Cronemberg (Spider, A Dangerous Method, Cosmopolis) che personalmente non vedo l'ora di vedere, vista la forte approvazione da parte della critica; miglior regista è Bennett Miller per Foxcatcher;  miglior attore è Timothy Spall per Mr. Turner. Niente premi ma grande approvazione per Captives e Clouds of Sils Maria.

Bene. Parte istituzionale fatta. Let's talk about the real business: Fashion.
