A collection made to turn the untamable spirit of punk into the ultimate expression of elegance.
An explosion of shimmering outfits, colored in the shades of city lights at night: for this fall couture collection Armani showcased multiple textures (from velvet to Lurex).
As Chanel, also Armani opted to level out the models with a captivating hairstyle and make up: everything was on point, from the sophisticated design of the collection to its minimalist presentation.
Unfortunately one thing was off: no black models, no diversity on the Italian designer's runway... Again.

CHRISTIAN DIOR

Inside a kaleidoscopic open air show space, Raf Simmons presented one of the most feminine, modern and unexpected Dior collections of his tenure.
“The idea of purity and innocence versus luxury and decadence and how that is encapsulated by the idea of Dior’s garden – no longer a flower garden but a sexual one,” that's how Simmons described his inspiration for the fall couture collection.
Some of the showcased dresses (both long and short) were styled with metal vests, tunics or long collar necklaces, that fashion experts like to explain as a reference to an imposed chastity.
The footwear, in the form of shimmering wedge heel sandals, got our approval, since they proved to be fashion forward and realistic at the same time.
However this collection found its glamorization thanks to the cape-coat hybrids, tailored with a single sleeve, usually in fur.
As Atelier Versace did, also Dior made sure to have VIP models sitting front row : if this is going to become an habit, we are totally on board!

A designer that knows how to tell a story through his creations should be called an artist: Ulyana Sergeenko definitely deserves the title.
Sergeenko's ability to embody and celebrate her Russian heritage into unique modern creations is amazing: her gowns always release a sense of sensual elegance and extreme luxury, thanks to her exquisite craftmanship and care for details (from crystal decorations to the retro-vibe eyewear or the youthfulness of the accessories).
It's hard to find a woman, who can't be fascinated by Ulyana Sergeenko's designs.
