Sul Natale si possono dire molte cose, ma tutti converrete che è l’unico momento dell’anno dove il cibo diventa una chiara espressione di amore e affetto. 

(Su quanto amore servirà smaltire in palestra ne riparliamo in un’altra sede.)

Le famiglie si radunano attorno al tavolo e tra una pietanza e l’altra riscoprono ricordi felici e aneddoti imbarazzanti, si scambiano regali accanto all’albero e sfoggiano con nonchalance maglioni di lana con renne o pupazzi di dubbio gusto, perché è natale e l’umorismo è di casa!

There’s a lot you can say about Christmas, but you would all agree that this is the only time of the year when food becomes a clear demonstration of love.

(We would talk about the amount of “love” we should sweat off in the gym, another time)

Families gather around the table and as they share food, happy and embarrassing memories are rediscovered, presents are shared by the Christmas tree and everyone is effortlessly sporting an ugly Christmas sweater, because it’s Christmas and it’s fun!   

Bene, ora immaginate tutto questo nella dimora del nostro cooking master Le Prince: ai maglioni natalizi si sostituiscono eleganti abiti da sera, i tipici addobbi si ripresentano in composizioni originali, gli alberi (si, non ce ne sono mai abbastanza!) di natale si fanno scenografici e in alcuni casi addirittura golosi, e poi la musica che ti avvolge e ti fa sentire a casa…questa non è una semplice cena di Natale…questo è il GRAN GALA’ DELLE FESTE!!

Now take all of that and imagine how Christmas would look like at our cooking master Le Prince’s house: no ugly sweaters just stylish and elegant clothes, the typical Christmas decoration are displayed in a much original way, Christmas trees (‘cause one is never enough!) look marvellous and sometimes even greedy; oh and the music is so joyful to make you feel like home…no, this not a common Christmas dinner…this is a Christmas Galà!!

Ecco, al Gran Galà delle Feste l’amore si traduce in un raffinato e sfizioso menù a 7 portate, di cui vi lasciamo alcune perle:

Well at Le Prince’s Christmas Galà love comes in a yummy 7-courses menu, here’s some dishes:

Antipasto: Brochette di rataouille / Quenelle di polenta Duxelles bardata allo speck croccante/ Fondue in crosta

Secondo di pesce: Vernissage di Gamberoni Reali al gratin, chatney di mango, lime candito e lamponi / purée St. Germaine

Refraicheur al mandarino

Secondo di carne: Filet-Mignon alle erbe cotto a bassa temperatura con prugne California/ Sautée di finocchi

A chiude questa incredibile esperienza culinaria da vera star abbiamo un dolce, ma che dico, un SUPER dolce: se amate il cioccolato…Benvenuti nel Paese dei Balocchi!
