American Music Awards 2016: best and worst red carpet

The 2016 American Music Awards, held last night in Los Angeles, brought out some interesting red carpets look.

BEST DRESSED

Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell: There are literally zero chanches of Lady Gaga doing wrong in Brandon Maxwell.

Gigi Hadid in Roberto Cavalli: We know that her millions of fans won't agree with us, but we often find Gigi's outfits a little bit tacky. Most of her stage outfits for the AMA's fell in that category , however the Roberto Cavalli gown she wore on the red carpet was just gorgeous.

Ciara in Stephane Rolland: Ciara looked like a beautiful a ballerina in Stephane Rolland.
Selena Gomez in Prada: Selena Gomez was pure elegance in a stunning Prada Gown.
Tinashe in Michael Costello: Tinashe looked radiant in this flirty Micheal Costello dress.

Hailee Steinfeld in Elie Saab: Hailee Steinfield wore a beautiful mini dress from Elie Saab Spring Summer 2017.

Nina Dobrev in Zuhair Murad: Nina Dobrev wore a short suit from Zuhair Murad Spring Summer 2017.

WORST DRESSED

Heidi Klum in Wolk Morai: The good news is that Heidi Klum wasn't amongst the worst dressed because she tried too hard as usual... The bad news is that she was amongst the worst dressed anyway.

Karlie Kloss in Atelier Versace: Kalie Kloss picked a cheap-looking and forgettable Versace dress.

Bebe Rexha in Yves Saint Laurent: Nothing in this look works.

Chrissy Teigen in Yousef Akbar: Chrissy Teigen would have looked stunning, if it wasn't for that way too high split.

Teyana Taylor in Elie Saab: We feel like this Elie Saab dress was a bit too much: the bustier, the drapes, the lace, the sheer...

Keke Palmen in Natalia Fedner: When you try to dress like Rihanna (or Lil Kim), you should keep this in mind: half of the looks that work on her, wouldn't work on anyone else. Kake Palmen's outfit is a clear example of this.

Taraji P Henson in Cèline: The idea of this outfit was good, but the execution didn't convince us.

TAYLOR SWIFT: "BAD BLOOD" Music Video

And the award for the most expensive video goes to...

Dopo 9 giorni di inutile promozione martellante e 18 poster promozionali dedicati a celebrità di Hollywood (es. Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Ellen Pompeo) artisti musicali, top model (es. Cindy Crawford, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevigne, Gigi Hadid e gli angeli di Victoria's Secret Lily Aldrige, Martha Hunt) e stelle emergenti (Zendaya and Empire's star Serayah), domenica sera (17 maggio) Taylor Swift ha finalmente svelato l'epico videoclip di “Bad Blood” all'inizio dei Billboard Music Awards.

After 9 days of unnecessary hype and 18 character posters featuring Hollywood celebrities (i.g. Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Ellen Pompeo) music artist, top models (i.g. Cindy Crawford, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevigne, Gigi Hadid and VS angels Lily Aldrige and Martha Hunt) and raising stars (Zendaya and Empire's star Serayah) , Taylor Swift finally unveiled her epic video for “Bad Blood” at the start of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

Capite cosa intendo?

No?

Guardate voi stessi.

The clip was directed by Joseph Kahn, who previously worked also on the video for Blank Space.

Whtat's Bad Blood about?

Well according to the rumors, this is a song that Swift wrote about Katy Perry, because of a dispute over back-up dancers, but the singer never confirmed that.

What is Bad Blood video about?

Nothing.

Better, it's a kind of cool edited trailer for a movie that will never see the light.

Just try to mix Britney Spears' Womanizer video with some scenes borrowed from movies like Divergent, Tron Legacy, Hunger Games, Kim Possible and The Expendables.

Do you know what I mean?

No?

Watch it with your own eyes.

Girl Power!

Notate che ogni star ha scelto il nome del proprio personaggio: io penso che Zendaya nei panni di Cut-Throat abbia rubato la scena a Ms Swift, ma questa è solo la mia opinione.

Che ne pensate di questo video aggressivo?

Girl Power!

Note that each star picked his or her own name for their characters: I think Zendaya as Cut-Throat stole the spotlight to Ms Swift, but it's just my opinion.

What do you think of this badass video?

MET Costume Institute Gala!
Monday night (4th May) the spotlights were on NYC, for fashion’s most glamorous night: forget the Oscars, the Golden Globes and the Grammys, because the real deal is

The MET Costume Institute Gala!

Every year the Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrates the opening of the Costume Institute’s newest exhibition, with an exclusive star-studded gala, where the only rule is “dress to impress”.

You won’t normally get an invitation unless:

1) you are on Anna Wintour’s BFF list

2) you are extremely famous

3) you are wealthy enough to afford the $25,000 ticket

According to Anna Wintour, this is the biggest exhibition ever staged by the Costume Institute, given the partnership with the MET’s Department of Asian Art.
Vogue magazine is also going to publish a documentary about the exhibition and the gala: we can't wait to watch it!
