Hello TEB's readers, here’s Beatrice writing and today I would like to talk about one of the most awaited movies of the year, The Girl on the Train.
Released at the beginning of october almost everywhere, the thriller will finally be out in Italy on the 3rd of November!
The film comes after the success of the best-selling book written by Paula Hawkins, therefore you can imagine how high our expectations on the director Tate Taylor, but especially on the protagonist Emily Blunt, are.

Dopo aver debuttato nelle sale cinematografiche di mezzo mondo agli inizi di Ottobre, il thriller uscirà finalmente anche in Italia il 3 novembre!
Il film nasce dal successo dell'omonimo best seller scritto da Paula Hawkins, quindi potete immaginare quanto alte possano essere le nostre aspettative sul
regista Tate Taylor, ma soprattutto sulla protagonista Emily Blunt.

Did the
screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson respect the book’s plot? This is what I
really care about, because Hawkins already did an amazing job keeping me reading
and reading her novel and I want to find out if this thriller movie will do the
same.
However the movie received mixed reviews since its first release: some critics prise the actors' interpretations, some were not convinced by them; some called the movie a mess and other called it the next Gone Girl (which scored an Oscar nomination for its leading actress,, Rosamund Pike, BTW).

La sceneggiatrice Erin Cressida Wilson avrà rispettato la trama ipnotica del libro? Questo è ciò che più mi preme,
considerando che la Hawkins ha svolto un ottimo lavoro tenendomi attaccata alla
sue parole, sono curiosa di sapere se anche questo thriller riuscirà a farlo.
Tuttavia la pellicola ha ricevuto recensioni discordanti sin dalla prima uscita: alcuni critici hanno lodato l'interpretazione degli attori, mentre altri non ne sono rimasti colpiti; alcuni hanno definito il film un disastro, mentre altri lo hanno definito l'erede di Gone Girl: L'amore Bugiardo (che tra l'altro ottenne una nomination agli Oscar per la protagonista, Rosamund Pike).
Intanto ecco il trailer italiano, che sembra essere convincente, ma riuscirà la
ragazza del treno a persuaderci fino in fondo?
